Individual therapy (sometimes called “psychotherapy” or “counseling”) is a process through which we work together one-on-one in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. We will explore your feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, to work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of your life that you would like to change, or better understand yourself, your life choices and your interactions with others. At the end of the day, my goal is to work together with you to set personal goals for you that are attainable and then we will work accomplish your desired change.

She ensures that your sessions are effective for helping her clients overcome barriers, and also to use their treatment to help enhance the many positive qualities of her patient's lives, such as increasing self-esteem and compassion and enhancing joy, connection, and self-love.
During the course of your therapy sessions, Laura functions as a support system in a way that is different from the support a friend or family member provides. Although there is often a strong and connected bond, it is not the same type of relationship. This allows for a safe environment where anything can be said. Dr. Bologh provides objective support and aids in helping you find new and meaningful ways of coping with stress, negative feelings, and challenges.
