Individual therapy (sometimes called “psychotherapy” or “counseling”) is a process through which we work together one-on-one in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. We will explore your feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, to work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of your life that you would like to change, or better understand yourself, your life choices and your interactions with others. At the end of the day, my goal is to work together with you to set personal goals for you that are attainable and then we will work accomplish your desired change.

Dr. Brologh is focused on promoting increased self-awareness, insight, and understanding, thereby enhancing her client’s experience of themselves and others. During the course of your therapy sessions, Laura functions as a support system in a way that is different from the support a friend or family member provides. Although there is often a strong and connected bond, it is not the same type of relationship. This allows for a safe environment where anything can be said.
